Eligibility

  • Graduate from a Nevada high school or earn a GED in Nevada.
  • Plan to attend a Nevada college, community college, university, or trade school, or an out-of-state institution participating in WUE.
  • Pursue healthcare, nursing, life sciences, or a related field.
  • Enroll full-time and maintain above a 2.5 cumulative GPA if awarded.
  • Preference is given for significant financial need and to Hispanic, Indigenous, first-generation, rural, and nontraditional applicants.

Requirements

  • Complete the online application.
  • Submit a transcript.
  • Submit the required essay.
  • Provide the financial-aid packet and FAFSA information.
  • A recommendation letter is optional.
