Leech Lake Post Secondary Grant Program

The Leech Lake Post Secondary Grant Program provides higher education financial assistance to enrolled members of the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe. Eligible students may attend accredited institutions in Minnesota or out of state and may pursue full-time, part-time, graduate, or short-term training programs.

Eligibility

  • Be an enrolled member of the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe.
  • Plan to attend a higher education institution in Minnesota or another state.
  • Full-time, part-time, graduate, and short-term training students may apply.

Requirements

  • Apply for the Minnesota Indian Scholarship Program when eligible.
  • Complete the Leech Lake Post Secondary Grant Program application.
  • Provide enrollment verification.
