A scholarship program co-sponsored by the Lincoln Education Association – Retired and Union Bank supporting graduates of Lincoln public high schools who are preparing to complete their student-teaching experience. Up to four $1,000 scholarships are available for the 2026–27 academic year.

Eligibility

  • Be a graduate of a Lincoln Public Schools high school in Lincoln, Nebraska.
  • Plan to complete student teaching during fall 2026 or spring 2027 for the 2026–27 scholarship cycle.
  • Elementary and secondary student teachers are eligible.
  • Meet all current LEA-R scholarship application requirements.
