Eligibility

  • Pursue an eligible STEM major at Missouri S&T.
  • First-year applicants must have at least a 3.4 unweighted cumulative GPA.
  • First-year applicants must also have a 26+ ACT or 1240+ SAT, qualify through S&T's test-optional admission process, or be confirmed A+ eligible from a designated Missouri A+ high school.
  • New transfer applicants must have at least a 3.5 cumulative transfer GPA.
  • Be admitted to an eligible STEM program at Missouri S&T.
  • Complete the applicable advising and registration or Transfer Advising Day process.
  • Students sponsored by a company or government are not eligible under the currently published program rules.

Requirements

  • Complete the Kummer Vanguard Scholars application.
  • Meet the applicable freshman or transfer academic criteria.
  • Be admitted to an eligible STEM program.
  • Complete required advising and registration steps.
  • Participate in required Kummer Vanguard Scholars programming if selected.

How to Apply
