Eligibility

  • Be a Kent County resident.
  • Be a high school senior enrolled in an institution of higher education or currently attend a vocational, two-year, or four-year study program.
  • Have a GPA of at least 3.0.
  • Preference is given to Kent County Farm Bureau members and dependents of members.
  • Preference is given to students studying agriscience.
  • Preference is given to students studying in Michigan.
  • Community service, 4-H, FFA, Young Farmer involvement, and agriculture-related work experience strengthen the application.

Requirements

  • Complete the Kent County Farm Bureau scholarship application.
  • Submit a reference letter from a Kent County Farm Bureau voting member or a person working in an agriculture-related field.
  • Maintain at least a 3.0 GPA.
  • Attend a Kent County Farm Bureau Board of Directors meeting or County Annual Meeting if selected.
