Kansas Osteopathic Medical Service Scholarship

Eligibility

• Be a Kansas resident.
• Be accepted to or enrolled in an accredited college of osteopathic medicine in the United States.
• Preference is given to first-year medical students.
• Intend to practice primary care medicine in Kansas after completing residency training.
• Be willing to practice in a rural or medically underserved area of Kansas or another qualifying service location.

Requirements

• Complete the Kansas Osteopathic Medical Service Scholarship application.
• Provide proof of acceptance or enrollment in an accredited osteopathic medical school.
• Submit all required essays and supporting documentation.
• Sign the required promissory note and service agreement.
• Complete residency training.
• Fulfill one year of qualifying Kansas service for each year of scholarship support received.

How to Apply
