Eligibility

  • Be a Kansas resident or hold a degree from a Kansas public university.
  • Be designated as a Brasenose Scholar, Chevening Scholar, Fulbright Scholar, James Madison Fellow, Marshall Scholar, Mellon Fellow, Rhodes Scholar, or Truman Scholar.
  • Be admitted to or enrolled full-time in a graduate degree program at a Kansas public university.
  • Remain in good academic standing.

  • Complete the Kansas Distinguished Scholarship application.
  • Provide documentation verifying designation as an eligible distinguished scholar.
  • Provide proof of graduate enrollment at a Kansas public university.
  • Maintain satisfactory academic progress while receiving the scholarship.
