Eligibility

  • Be a Kansas resident.
  • Be at least 25 years old before the first grant-funded course begins.
  • Seek a bachelor's degree at an eligible institution.
  • Enroll in an approved high-demand degree program.
  • Meet the household income requirements established by the Kansas Board of Regents.
  • Enroll in at least six credit hours.
  • Complete the FAFSA.

Requirements

  • Complete the Kansas Adult Learner Grant application.
  • Submit the FAFSA.
  • Maintain satisfactory academic progress.
  • Maintain at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA.
  • Continue enrollment in an approved eligible program.
  • Fulfill the Kansas service obligation after graduation.
