Eligibility

  • Be a current high school senior from any high school in Kandiyohi County or live in Kandiyohi County, Minnesota.
  • Have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5.
  • Plan to enroll full-time at a two-year or four-year U.S.-based college.
  • Plan to pursue an agriculture-related major.
  • Farm Bureau family membership is not required, although preference is given to Farm Bureau member families.

Requirements

  • Complete the CommunityGiving online scholarship application.
  • Write the required essay explaining how your future education plans align with Farm Bureau's goal of supporting farms, families, and food.
  • Provide information about community service, church or community activities, and volunteer experiences.
  • Provide information about extracurricular school activities.
  • Provide work experience, including years involved and areas of leadership or participation.
  • Provide a guidance counselor email address so an official high school transcript can be submitted electronically.
