Eligibility

  • Be an undergraduate at a Minnesota State two-year college.
  • Be full or part time and demonstrate documented financial need.
  • Be an immigrant born outside the United States or a child of immigrants whose parents were both born outside the United States.
  • Have at least a 3.0 GPA.
  • PSEO students are ineligible.
  • Students without access to federal financial aid are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

  • Complete the online application.
  • Submit a 300-750 word college-education essay.
  • Submit a personal goals essay.
  • Describe how the scholarship will support the student's education.
  • Submit one recommendation from college staff.
  • Submit an unofficial transcript.
