Eligibility

  • Be a registered nurse.
  • Live or work in Missouri.
  • Be a current Missouri Public Health Association member in good standing with dues paid.
  • Be pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in a public-health-related field such as BSN, BS, BA, MSN, MPH, or another qualifying program.
  • Undergraduate applicants must already be enrolled in a college or university program and have satisfactorily completed at least 15 credit hours.
  • Graduate applicants must already be enrolled in a college or university program and have satisfactorily completed at least 6 credit hours.
  • Applicants may reapply if they remain eligible and have not previously received the scholarship.

Requirements

  • Complete the Jackie Liesemeyer Nursing Scholarship application.
  • Explain how the scholarship will be used.
  • Explain why the applicant works in the field of public health nursing and describe future plans.
  • Submit confirmation of enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate college or university program.
  • Submit official academic transcripts.
  • Submit one reference from an immediate or recent supervisor.
  • Submit one personal reference.
