Jack F. Tolbert Memorial Student Grant Program

Eligibility

• Be a Maryland resident.
• If classified as a dependent student, have a parent who is also a Maryland resident.
• Attend an approved Maryland private career school.
• Enroll for at least 18 clock hours per week.
• Remain enrolled in an eligible program at the approved private career school.
• Students in all majors offered by approved participating schools may be eligible.

Requirements

• Complete and file the FAFSA.
• Apply for the Tolbert Grant through the financial aid office at the approved private career school you attend.
• Maintain enrollment of at least 18 clock hours per week.
• Submit any documentation required by the participating private career school.
• Continue meeting Maryland residency and enrollment requirements for renewal.
