Eligibility

  • Be a current Nevada resident.
  • Have graduated from a Northern Nevada high school.
  • Be enrolled in the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine.
  • Demonstrate significant financial need.
  • Agree to maintain full-time enrollment and the minimum GPA required by UNR.

Requirements

  • Complete the Community Foundation online application.
  • Submit an undergraduate or medical-school transcript, as applicable.
  • Provide the first page of the applicant's or dependent applicant's parent's most recent tax return.
  • Provide UNR School of Medicine enrollment verification.
  • Submit a recommendation letter from a UNR professor or counselor.
