Irene and Leeta Wagy Memorial Scholarship

Eligibility

• Be a woman pursuing a degree in education.
• Be a United States citizen.
• Be a Missouri resident.
• Be a high school senior ranking in the upper 10% of the graduating class.
• Plan to attend a Missouri university or college.

Requirements

• Complete the typed MSSDAR scholarship application.
• Submit a typed career-objectives statement of 600 words or fewer.
• Submit an original high school transcript showing required academic information.
• Submit four letters of recommendation.
• Submit a one-page list of extracurricular activities, honors, and scholastic achievements.
• Submit proof of United States citizenship.
• Do not include a photograph.

How to Apply

1. 1Complete a separate MSSDAR application packet for the Irene and Leeta Wagy Memorial Scholarship.
2. 2Prepare the required career-objectives statement.
3. 3Gather all required academic, recommendation, activity, and citizenship documents.
4. 4Mail the complete packet to the State Scholarship Chair by the published deadline.
