Iowa Sheep Industry Association Scholarship

Eligibility

• Be a graduating high school senior.
• Plan to attend a two-year or four-year college.
• Demonstrate involvement in and passion for the sheep industry.
• Demonstrate scholastic achievement, leadership, citizenship, and participation in sheep-related activities.

Requirements

• Complete the Iowa Sheep Industry Association scholarship application.
• Submit two non-family letters of recommendation with contact information.
• Submit a brief cover letter explaining why you are applying for the scholarship.
• Submit a narrative describing past, present, and future involvement in the sheep industry.
• Describe scholastic achievements and extracurricular activities.
• Describe community involvement and future goals.
• Provide a current GPA or transcript.

2. 2Write the required narrative about your sheep-industry involvement, achievements, activities, community involvement, and goals.
3. 3Prepare a short cover letter explaining why you are applying.
4. 4Request two non-family recommendation letters.
5. 5Obtain your current GPA or transcript.
6. 6Submit the complete application package before the published deadline.
7. 7If selected, provide first-semester midterm college grades before the scholarship payment is released.
