Iowa National Guard STEM Master's Scholarship

The Iowa National Guard STEM Master's Scholarship provides educational assistance to eligible Iowa Army and Air National Guard members pursuing approved science, technology, engineering, or mathematics master's degrees at eligible Iowa colleges and universities. Award amounts are determined annually by the Iowa Adjutant General and are reduced by applicable Federal Tuition Assistance.

Eligibility

  • Be an Iowa resident.
  • Serve in the Iowa Army or Air National Guard during each term benefits are received.
  • Be admitted to an eligible STEM master's degree program at an eligible Iowa college or university.
  • Maintain satisfactory academic progress.
  • Complete required National Guard training and maintain satisfactory military performance.
  • Complete both the FAFSA and Iowa Financial Aid Application by the required deadline.
  • Use all available Federal Tuition Assistance before the scholarship is calculated.
