Eligibility

  • Be an Iowa resident.
  • Attend an Iowa community college.
  • Enroll in at least three credit hours.
  • Enroll in a qualifying career or technical education program lasting at least 15 weeks.
  • Demonstrate financial need through the FAFSA.
  • Have an eligible Student Aid Index within the range established for the academic year.
  • Meet all additional Iowa state financial-aid eligibility requirements.
