Intercounty Electric Cooperative Scholarship

Eligibility

• Be a high school senior.
• Have a parent or guardian who is a member of Intercounty Electric Cooperative.
• Have a GPA of at least 2.5.
• Plan to attend an accredited college, university, vocational school, or vocational program following high school graduation.
• Enroll as a full-time student for the first year of post-secondary education.

Requirements

• Complete the Intercounty Electric Cooperative scholarship application.
• Obtain signatures from the student, parent or guardian, and high school counselor.
• Submit a 300- to 500-word essay responding to the current scholarship prompt.
• Submit an official high school transcript.
• Submit a separate academic résumé listing extracurricular activities, club memberships, offices held, honors received, and community involvement.
• If selected, provide valid proof of full-time enrollment by the enrollment-verification deadline.

How to Apply

1. 1Confirm that the applicant's parent or guardian is an Intercounty Electric Cooperative member.
2. 2Complete and sign the annual scholarship application.
3. 3Obtain the required parent or guardian and counselor signatures.
4. 4Write the required 300- to 500-word essay.
5. 5Obtain an official high school transcript.
6. 6Prepare the required academic résumé.
7. 7Submit the completed application and supporting documentation to the high school guidance counselor by the published deadline.
8. 8If selected, submit proof of full-time enrollment to Intercounty Electric by the enrollment-verification deadline.
