Eligibility

  • Be a high school senior.
  • Have a parent or guardian who is a member of Intercounty Electric Cooperative.
  • Have a GPA of at least 2.5.
  • Plan to attend an accredited college, university, vocational school, or vocational program following high school graduation.
  • Enroll as a full-time student for the first year of post-secondary education.

Requirements

  • Complete the Intercounty Electric Cooperative scholarship application.
  • Obtain signatures from the student, parent or guardian, and high school counselor.
  • Submit a 300- to 500-word essay responding to the current scholarship prompt.
  • Submit an official high school transcript.
  • Submit a separate academic résumé listing extracurricular activities, club memberships, offices held, honors received, and community involvement.
  • If selected, provide valid proof of full-time enrollment by the enrollment-verification deadline.
