Eligibility

  • Be a former student or graduate of Morton Memorial High School.
  • Have previously resided at the Indiana Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Children’s Home.
  • Have been admitted to the home because of a relationship to a member of the United States Armed Forces.
  • Be eligible for the resident tuition rate at the attending eligible Indiana institution.
  • Maintain satisfactory academic progress as defined by the institution.
  • Not be in default or overpayment status on a student loan or grant.
  • Complete the FAFSA annually.

Requirements

  • Complete the Indiana Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Children’s Home application through ScholarTrack.
  • Complete the FAFSA for every academic year the benefit will be used.
  • Provide documentation showing former enrollment at or graduation from Morton Memorial High School.
  • Provide documentation confirming former residency at the Indiana Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Children’s Home.
  • Provide documentation establishing the qualifying relationship to a member of the United States Armed Forces.
  • Maintain satisfactory academic progress.
  • Remain eligible for the Indiana resident tuition rate.
