Since 2001, the program has awarded more than $2 million to help students pursue higher education.

Eligibility

  • Be a graduating high school senior.
  • Live in or attend school in an eligible Independence Bank service county in Kentucky.
  • Homeschooled students are eligible.
  • Plan to attend a two-year or four-year college or university, vocational school, or trade school.

Requirements

  • Submit the required essay.
  • Provide academic records and all requested supporting information.
  • Participate in an interview if selected as a finalist.
