Eligibility

  • Be an active Illinois National Guard member or otherwise meet ISAC's qualifying National Guard service requirements.
  • Have completed at least one full year of service in the Illinois National Guard.
  • Be enrolled at an Illinois public community college or public university.
  • Maintain satisfactory academic progress as determined by your institution.
  • Not be in default on a student loan or owe a refund on a state or federal grant.

Requirements

  • Complete the Illinois National Guard Grant application through the ISAC Student Portal.
  • Provide required Illinois National Guard service verification.
  • Submit any additional documentation requested by ISAC.
