Illinois Legislative Black Caucus Foundation Scholarship

Eligibility

• Be an Illinois resident.
• Be an African American student.
• Be a graduating high school senior or current undergraduate student.
• Plan to continue your education at a two-year or four-year institution.
• Enroll or continue enrollment during the fall term following the scholarship cycle.
• Meet all eligibility requirements published in the current ILBCF application.

Requirements

• Complete the online scholarship application.
• Submit a current academic transcript.
• Provide the required letter of recommendation.
• Write the required short essay.
• Submit a current resume.
• Provide information about your academic goals, leadership, activities, and community involvement.
