Illinois Beef Foundation Scholarship

Eligibility

• Be a high school senior or full-time college student.
• Come from a family with an active Illinois Beef Association membership.
• Have a family that is actively involved in beef production.
• Apply through the junior category as a high school senior or the senior category as a full-time college student.
• A recipient may receive a Foundation scholarship no more than twice: once as a junior recipient and once as a senior recipient.
• Meet all additional Illinois Beef Foundation requirements for the current cycle.

Requirements

• Complete the Illinois Beef Foundation scholarship application.
• Submit all required written responses or essays.
• Provide academic and beef-industry involvement information.
• Submit any transcript, recommendation, membership, or supporting documentation requested for the current cycle.

How to Apply

1. 1Confirm that your family's Illinois Beef Association membership is active.
2. 2Select the junior or senior scholarship category based on your education level.
3. 3Complete the current scholarship application.
4. 4Describe your family's beef-production involvement and your educational goals.
5. 5Upload all required academic and supporting materials.
6. 6Submit the complete application between November 1 and January 1.
