Eligibility

  • Be an Idaho resident.
  • Major in accounting.
  • Attend a college or university located in Idaho.
  • Be enrolled full time as an undergraduate junior or senior, or as a graduate student.
  • Have at least two semesters or the equivalent remaining after June of the award year.
  • Maintain at least a 2.75 cumulative GPA.
  • Nontraditional students who have not attended a higher-education institution for at least three years are exempt from the cumulative GPA requirement during their first semester or quarter.
  • Maintain the required academic standard during each funded semester.

  • Complete the online Idaho Society of CPAs scholarship application.
  • Submit the most recent college or university transcript.
  • Submit the most recent grades if they are not shown on the transcript.
  • Provide one recommendation letter from an accounting instructor, internship supervisor, or employer.
  • Submit every required component by the published deadline.
