Idaho Nursing and Health Professions Scholarship

Eligibility

• Be accepted into an accredited nursing or health-professions program located in Idaho.
• Pursue nursing, respiratory therapy, physical therapy, or another eligible healthcare profession.
• Demonstrate financial need through the FAFSA.
• Meet all additional requirements established by the Idaho Community Foundation.
• Preference is given to students ranked in the top third of their academic class.

Requirements

• Complete both pages of the official scholarship application.
• Submit a copy of the most recent college transcript.
• Submit a written statement between one and three pages.
• Explain educational and career goals and why you selected nursing or another health profession.
• Describe extracurricular activities, volunteer service, awards, honors, and leadership positions.
• Describe work experience and whether you plan to work while attending school.
• Explain why you should be selected for the scholarship.
• Submit a complete copy of the FAFSA report.
• Submit one reference letter from the higher-education institution you attend.
• Combine the application and all supporting materials into one PDF file.
