Idaho Governor's Cup Scholarship (CTE)

Eligibility

• Be an Idaho resident.
• Be a high school senior graduating from an Idaho high school or Idaho homeschool program.
• Have a minimum unweighted cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Enroll full time during the upcoming fall semester at an eligible Idaho institution.
• Enroll in an approved career-technical education program.
• Demonstrate volunteer work, community leadership, or public service.
• Remain enrolled in an approved CTE program to retain the scholarship.

Requirements

• Complete the Scholarship Idaho general application.
• Complete the Idaho Governor's Cup CTE Scholarship application.
• Write a 500-word personal essay describing educational goals and career interests.
• Document volunteer work, leadership, and public-service activities.
• Provide two letters of recommendation.
• Submit any academic or program documentation requested through Scholarship Idaho.

2. 2Confirm that your intended career-technical program is approved for the scholarship.
3. 3Complete the general and Governor's Cup CTE applications.
4. 4Write and upload the required 500-word essay.
5. 5Document your volunteer service, leadership, and community involvement.
6. 6Request two recommendation letters well before the deadline.
7. 7Submit every required component by the published closing date.
