The Idaho Career Technical Education Foundation offers four competitive scholarships supporting Idaho secondary and postsecondary career and technical education students. Opportunities help students attend national CTSO competitions, purchase required tools and equipment, begin their first postsecondary CTE program, or continue an existing technical education program.

2026 Neptune Lynch IX First-Year Postsecondary Scholarship
Eligibility
- Meet the eligibility requirements for at least one Idaho Career Technical Education Foundation scholarship.
- Merit Scholarship applicants must be attending a national Career Technical Student Organization competition for the first time.
- Tools for the Trade applicants must plan to enroll in an approved postsecondary Idaho CTE program requiring occupational tools, equipment, or software.
- Anne Veseth Memorial applicants must currently be enrolled in an approved postsecondary Idaho CTE program.
- Neptune Lynch IX applicants must be entering an approved Idaho postsecondary CTE program for the first time after completing high school.
- Meet any scholarship-specific Idaho residency, GPA, CTE coursework, enrollment, institution, or regional requirements.
- Submit an application that meets the Foundation's minimum competitive scoring threshold.
Requirements
- Complete the electronic application for the applicable scholarship.
- Submit an unofficial academic transcript.
- Complete all required short-answer or essay responses in the applicant's own voice.
- Provide a recommendation or eligibility letter from a CTE instructor or CTSO adviser when required.
- Provide proof of admission or enrollment in an approved Idaho technical college or CTE program when required.
- Submit optional industry certifications when applicable.
- Submit every required component before the scholarship-specific deadline.
