The HOPE Career Grant provides additional financial assistance to HOPE Grant- or Zell Miller Grant-eligible students enrolled in approved certificate and diploma programs connected to high-demand industries in Georgia.

Eligibility
- Meet all eligibility requirements for the HOPE Grant or Zell Miller Grant.
- Be enrolled in an approved HOPE Career Grant certificate or diploma program.
- Attend an eligible Georgia college or university.
- Meet applicable Georgia residency and citizenship or eligible noncitizen requirements.
- Remain academically eligible for the underlying HOPE Grant or Zell Miller Grant.
- Not have exceeded the applicable HOPE program award-hour limits.
Requirements
- Complete either the FAFSA or the Georgia Student Finance Application.
- Qualify for and receive the HOPE Grant or Zell Miller Grant.
- Enroll in an approved HOPE Career Grant program.
- Submit any residency, citizenship, enrollment, or academic documentation requested by the institution or GSFC.
How to Apply
- 1Apply to an eligible Georgia institution offering approved certificate or diploma programs.
- 2Complete either the FAFSA or Georgia Student Finance Application.
- 3Confirm that your selected program appears on the current HOPE Career Grant eligible-program list.
- 4Establish eligibility for the HOPE Grant or Zell Miller Grant.
- 5Enroll in the approved program and allow the institution to determine the additional Career Grant award.
- 6Monitor your eligibility through GAfutures and your college financial-aid account.
