Eligibility

  • Be a graduating high school senior pursuing post-high-school education for the upcoming academic year.
  • Be a HomeTown Credit Union member in good standing for at least three months before applying.
  • Plan to attend a private or public college, university, community college, or technical college accredited by the U.S. Department of Education.
  • Meet all additional requirements listed in the annual HomeTown Credit Union scholarship application.

Requirements

  • Complete the HomeTown Credit Union scholarship application.
  • Prepare an accomplishment list covering honors, awards, recognitions, achievements, extracurricular activities, volunteer activities, and employment experience.
  • Create a 1-to-3-minute video exploring the advantages and disadvantages of Buy Now Pay Later loans.
  • Upload the video to YouTube and provide the video link in the application.
  • Submit two letters of recommendation.
  • Submit an official high school transcript.
  • Submit the complete application electronically by the annual deadline.
