Eligibility

  • Be of Hispanic or Latino heritage.
  • Graduate from a Greater Kansas City metropolitan area high school or earn a GED/HiSET through a local organization.
  • Be accepted to or enrolled in an accredited trade school, community college, college, or university.
  • Enroll full-time (generally at least 12 undergraduate credit hours or 9 graduate credit hours).
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is not required.

Requirements

  • Complete the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation General Application.
  • Complete the Hispanic Development Fund supplemental application.
  • Submit the required essay.
  • Upload academic transcripts.
  • Provide parent or guardian tax documentation (or your own if considered an independent student).
