Eligibility

  • Hold a current unrestricted Mississippi RN license.
  • Be a current member of the Mississippi Nurses Association.
  • Be a nurse or nurse practitioner currently working in geriatrics.
  • Be pursuing an advanced nursing degree such as BSN, MSN, DNP, or PhD.
  • Plan to continue working with geriatric patients.
  • Have at least a 3.0 GPA in the nursing curriculum.

Requirements

  • Complete the Student Information Form.
  • Provide a copy of your current Mississippi nursing license.
  • Submit enrollment verification including anticipated completion date.
  • Submit an official transcript.
  • Provide two professional letters of reference.
  • Submit an essay addressing your role in improving care for the elderly in Mississippi.
