The HCAR Emerging Achiever Scholarship supports new real estate professionals entering the REALTOR® profession in Howard County, Maryland. Eligibility

  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Have successfully completed the 60-hour Maryland real estate pre-licensing course and examination.
  • Be a new or existing Howard County Association of REALTORS® member for no more than one year.
  • Demonstrate financial need.
  • Be entering or establishing a professional career as a REALTOR®.
  • Meet all additional scholarship requirements established by the Howard County Association of REALTORS®.

Requirements

  • Complete the HCAR Emerging Achiever Scholarship application.
  • Submit a Statement of Financial Need of at least 500 words.
  • Provide a recommendation from a sponsoring broker mentor.
  • Participate in an interview with the scholarship committee.
  • Submit all required application materials during the annual scholarship window.

How to Apply

  3. 3Complete the HCAR Emerging Achiever Scholarship application.
