The Hawaii State FCU Scholarship supports credit union members and their dependents who demonstrate financial need while pursuing undergraduate, graduate, trade, or vocational education. Twenty recipients are selected annually for awards of up to $5,000.

Eligibility

  • Be a Hawaii State Federal Credit Union member or the dependent of a member.
  • Attend a fully accredited university, college, trade school, or vocational school during the applicable academic year.
  • Be enrolled full time or part time as determined by the institution's financial-aid office.
  • Be pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree or an eligible trade or vocational credential.
  • Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
  • Demonstrate financial need.
  • Meet all additional requirements published for the current scholarship cycle.

Requirements

  • Complete the Hawaii State FCU Scholarship application.
  • Submit the most recent unofficial transcript.
  • Submit the applicable FAFSA Financial Summary.
  • Provide a list of achievements and community-service activities.
  • Optionally submit letters of recommendation.
  • Provide any additional membership, enrollment, or financial documentation requested.
