Hawaiʻi Community Foundation Scholarships

Eligibility

• Meet the eligibility requirements for at least one Hawaiʻi Community Foundation scholarship fund.
• Many funds require applicants to be residents of the State of Hawaiʻi.
• Demonstrate financial need when required by the applicable scholarship.
• Attend or plan to attend an accredited nonprofit two-year or four-year institution in the United States.
• Enroll full time when required by the applicable scholarship.
• Maintain at least a 2.7 GPA unless a particular scholarship fund establishes a different academic standard.
• Meet any additional requirements related to island, community, school, ancestry, major, career plans, employment, or other donor criteria.

Requirements

• Complete the Hawaiʻi Community Foundation Common Scholarship Application.
• Submit the required essays or written responses.
• Provide academic transcripts.
• Provide financial and household information.
• Complete the FAFSA or other financial-aid documentation when required.
• Submit recommendations or additional documents for scholarship funds that require them.
