Eligibility

  • Be a high school senior or current college student.
  • Have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
  • Be from Clay County or Platte County, Missouri.
  • Plan to pursue education or training through a two-year institution, four-year institution, military training program, or trade or technical school.
  • Demonstrate outstanding leadership through school, community, extracurricular activities, military service, or another organization.

Requirements

  • Complete the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation General Application.
  • Complete the Harvest Ball Founders' Scholarship supplemental questions.
  • Submit one letter of recommendation from someone familiar with your leadership abilities.
  • The recommendation may not be written by a parent or immediate family member.
  • Complete the required written response explaining how your activities, leadership positions, or honors have helped you grow as a student and individual.
