Harford County Association of REALTORS® Charitable & Educational Foundation Scholarship

Eligibility

• Be a graduate of a Harford County, Maryland high school.
• Attend a Maryland college or university.
• Plan to enroll as a full-time student taking at least 12 credit hours per semester.
• Demonstrate strong financial need.
• Maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5.
• Demonstrate a strong desire to further your education.
• Continue meeting the scholarship's eligibility requirements each semester to remain eligible for continued funding.

Requirements

• Complete the Harford County Association of REALTORS® Charitable & Educational Foundation scholarship application.
• Submit a student-written narrative addressing your educational goals.
• Submit an official high school transcript mailed by your high school Guidance Office.
• Submit all application materials by midnight on April 30.
• Participate in an interview if selected as a finalist.

How to Apply

1. 1Confirm that you graduated from a Harford County, Maryland high school and will attend a Maryland college or university.
2. 2Complete the HCAR Foundation scholarship application.
3. 3Write the required narrative addressing your educational goals.
4. 4Ask your high school Guidance Office to mail an official transcript as directed by the Foundation.
5. 5Make sure the application, narrative, and transcript are received by midnight on April 30.
6. 6If selected, participate in an interview held during May or June at the Harford County Association of REALTORS® office in Bel Air.
7. 7If awarded, continue meeting the scholarship's eligibility requirements each semester to remain eligible for additional funding.
