Hagan Scholarship

Eligibility

• Be in the 2027 graduating class at a high school located in the United States; all nationalities and citizenship statuses may apply.
• Have an unweighted cumulative GPA of at least 3.50.
• Parents’ adjusted gross household income for 2025 federal tax purposes must not exceed $125,000.
• Enroll at an eligible four-year college or university in the first fall after graduation; community colleges, junior colleges and online institutions are excluded.
• Maintain a four-year graduation schedule or complete the equivalent within four years in a professional program.
• Work 240 hours between January 1 and September 1, 2027 in paid, supervised, regularly scheduled non-family employment before fall disbursement.
• Apply for federal and state grants if eligible.
• Applicants can apply only once; review the semester-by-semester responsibilities before accepting.

Requirements

• Complete the online application.
• Submit the required essay.
• Provide a current high school transcript and an unsealed recommendation letter.
• If selected as a finalist: U.S. citizens provide the first two pages of the FAFSA Summary showing SAI; non-U.S. citizens provide a foreign passport or green card.
• Submit all requested financial documentation.
