Greenhouse Scholars Whole Person College Program

Eligibility

• Be a graduating high school senior planning to enroll at a four-year accredited college or university in fall 2027.
• Be a United States citizen or permanent resident.
• Be a legal resident of Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, New York, North Carolina, or Utah.
• California applicants must reside in Los Angeles County, Riverside County, or Orange County.
• Have a cumulative unweighted GPA of at least 3.5.
• Have an annual household income of no more than $80,000.
• Demonstrate strong leadership, perseverance through difficult circumstances, and commitment to the community.

Requirements

• Complete the initial eligibility survey and short written response.
• If invited to Part 2, submit a transcript, two recommendation letters, and four written responses of up to 500 words each.
• If selected as a semifinalist, submit a five-minute video response and proof-of-income documents.
• If selected as a finalist, provide updated academic and college information and participate in an interview.

How to Apply

1. 1Register through the Greenhouse Scholars application portal.
2. 2Complete Part 1 between September 1 and November 12, 2026.
3. 3Eligible applicants are invited to Part 2 on a rolling basis.
4. 4Complete all later application rounds if selected to advance.
5. 5Finalists participate in an interview between late March and mid-April 2027.
6. 6Scholar selections are scheduled to be announced during the week of May 3, 2027.
