Eligibility

  • Be an Illinois resident who is a U.S. citizen, eligible non-citizen, or DACA student.
  • Be an Illinois high school senior, Illinois partner university freshman or sophomore, or Illinois community college student.
  • Plan to pursue teacher licensure.
  • Maintain at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA.
  • Complete a bachelor's degree from a participating Illinois partner university.
  • Commit to teaching for five years in an Illinois school of need within seven years of graduation.

  • ACT or SAT scores are optional (required for homeschooled applicants).
