The Georgia College Completion Grant helps eligible students who are close to earning a degree but have an outstanding balance that could prevent them from graduating. Participating institutions determine student eligibility and award available funding.

Eligibility
- Be enrolled at an eligible University System of Georgia, Technical College System of Georgia, or participating private nonprofit institution in Georgia.
- Be pursuing an eligible undergraduate credential.
- Students in a two-year program must have completed at least 45% of the credit hours required for the program.
- Students in a four-year program must have completed at least 70% of the credit hours required for the program.
- Have an outstanding balance owed to the institution for direct educational costs during the current term.
- Experience a financial-aid gap that could prevent continued enrollment or degree completion.
- Meet all institutional and Georgia Student Finance Commission eligibility requirements.
Requirements
- Complete the FAFSA when required by the institution.
- Work with the institution's financial-aid office to determine eligibility.
- Provide any documentation requested by the institution.
