4-H Beyond Ready On-the-Job Training Scholarship

Eligibility

• Be a Gallatin County 4-H youth graduating from high school.
• Pursue employment through a vocational apprenticeship or on-the-job training program.
• Qualifying examples include construction, mechanics, electrical or journeyman training, plumbing, and other trades.
• Years of 4-H enrollment are considered.
• 4-H club membership is encouraged and preferred but not required.

Requirements

• Complete the Gallatin County 4-H Foundation scholarship application.
• Complete the required written sections.
• Submit an official transcript.
• Submit a typed résumé.
• Submit one character letter of recommendation.
• Submit one employer letter of recommendation confirming the training program.
• Provide proof of employment and training before funds are distributed.

How to Apply

1. 1Secure qualifying employment or apprenticeship training.

3. 3Complete the required essays.
4. 4Obtain a character recommendation.
5. 5Obtain an employer recommendation confirming your training program.
6. 6Submit the complete application by August 1.
7. 7Provide proof of employment and training before receiving funds.
