FSG–Guy Harvey Fellowship

Eligibility

• Be enrolled full time as a graduate student at a Florida institution of higher education.
• Conduct research that supports the understanding or sustainable management of marine fish.
• Pursue research involving marine-fish biology, ecology, habitat, management, fisheries, or qualifying aquaculture topics.
• Be in good academic standing in the applicant's graduate program.
• Submit a complete application through the Florida Sea Grant application portal by the published deadline.

Requirements

• Complete the online Florida Sea Grant fellowship application.
• Submit a curriculum vitae limited to two pages.
• Submit a career statement limited to two pages.
• Submit a research description limited to two pages.
• Provide all undergraduate and graduate transcripts.
• Arrange for the applicant's graduate adviser to submit a recommendation letter.
• Ensure that the graduate adviser confirms the applicant is in good academic standing.
• Submit the complete application by 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on August 6, 2026.
