Eligibility

  • Be at least 40 years old.
  • Be a TruStone Financial Credit Union member at the time of application.
  • Plan to pursue postsecondary education during the fall following the scholarship award.
  • Attend full time or part time.
  • Attend an accredited two-year college, four-year college or university, technical school, or vocational school in the United States.
  • Begin the qualifying course of postsecondary study within six months of the award.

  • Complete the Richard Fritz Wurzer Memorial Scholarship application.
  • Provide TruStone Financial membership information.
  • Provide postsecondary school and enrollment information.
  • Complete the required essay response.
  • Submit all required supporting materials through the scholarship application system.
