Eligibility

  • Be a Gallatin County 4-H youth graduating from high school.
  • Plan to attend a traditional four-year college or university.
  • Plan to study an agriculture-related major within a College of Agriculture, including qualifying fields such as equine science or veterinary medicine.
  • Complete the Gallatin County 4-H Foundation scholarship application.
  • Years of 4-H enrollment are considered during selection.
  • 4-H club membership is encouraged and preferred but is not required.

Requirements

  • Complete the Gallatin County 4-H Foundation scholarship application.
  • Submit the required short essay sections covering leadership, citizenship, community service, 4-H experience, and career goals.
  • Submit an official high school or college transcript.
  • Submit a typed résumé no longer than one double-sided page.
  • Submit two letters of recommendation.
  • Obtain the Gallatin County 4-H Agent signature.
