Eligibility

  • Be a member in good standing of Cumann na Gaeilge i mBoston.
  • Generally be at least in the second year of Irish-language study in classes conducted or approved by Cumann na Gaeilge i mBoston.
  • Plan to attend an Irish-language course approved for scholarship support.
  • Applicants who previously received the scholarship are asked to wait two years before applying again.
  • Applicants who have not previously received the scholarship receive preference.

Requirements

  • Complete the Fr. Seán Sweeney Scholarship Grant application.
  • Identify the Irish-language course the scholarship would support.
  • Participate in an Irish-language interview with the scholarship committee.
  • Demonstrate an appropriate level of Irish-language ability.
  • Submit all materials required for the current scholarship cycle.

How to Apply
