Eligibility

  • Be a resident of Richland County or the surrounding Sidney Health Center service area.
  • Be pursuing a healthcare career.
  • Be accepted into a postsecondary institution.
  • Have completed at least one year of college.
  • Preference is given to applicants with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher.
  • Preference is given to students planning to return to Sidney Health Center or the Richland County area after completing their education.

Requirements

  • Complete the online scholarship application.
  • Submit your most recent official college transcript.
  • Provide three recommendation surveys.
  • Submit a typed, double-spaced 250-word essay explaining why you chose healthcare and how your education will help enhance patient care at Sidney Health Center.
  • Provide a financial-need statement with anticipated expenses.
