The Florida Realtors Education Foundation Scholarship helps Florida residents offset the cost of undergraduate or graduate study. Students in any major may apply, although applicants pursuing real estate or real estate-related careers receive special consideration. Recipients may attend an eligible college or university inside or outside Florida if they intend to return to Florida for work after graduation.

Eligibility

  • Be a legal resident of Florida and provide proof of Florida residency.
  • Be a Florida high school senior planning to attend an undergraduate college or university, a student currently enrolled in an undergraduate program, or a student pursuing graduate study.
  • Plan to attend an eligible college or university.
  • Applicants attending an institution outside Florida must indicate an intention to return to Florida for work after graduation.
  • Students in any major may apply.
  • Applicants considering careers in real estate or real estate-related fields may receive special consideration.
  • Meet any additional requirements established for the current application cycle.

Requirements

  • Complete the online scholarship application.
  • Submit three reference letters.
  • Ensure that at least two reference letters are from teachers or school administrators and appear on school letterhead.
  • Submit academic transcripts covering the previous three years.
  • High school seniors must provide an acceptance letter from at least one college or university they plan to attend.
  • Currently enrolled students must provide a copy of their current school identification.
  • Provide proof of legal Florida residency.
  • Submit all materials through the online application system by the published deadline.
