First Financial Federal Credit Union Scholarship

Eligibility

• Be a graduating high school senior.
• Be a First Financial Federal Credit Union member.
• Have your own eligible First Financial savings account.
• Maintain a minimum 2.5 unweighted GPA.
• Plan to attend a postsecondary institution in the fall following high school graduation.
• Attend a high school in a community served by First Financial, or qualify under the credit union's provisions for student members attending schools outside its field of membership.
• First Financial employees, volunteers, and their family members are not eligible.

Requirements

• Complete the First Financial Federal Credit Union scholarship application.
• Provide your school counselor's email address so an academic transcript can be requested.
• Provide a list of school and community activities.
• Provide email addresses for two individuals submitting recommendation letters.
• Submit the required essay of 300 words or fewer.
• Meet all credit union membership and academic eligibility requirements.

How to Apply

1. 1Confirm that you are a First Financial member and have your own eligible savings account.
2. 2Complete the online scholarship application during the annual application period.
3. 3Provide your school counselor's email address for transcript submission.
4. 4List your school and community activities.
5. 5Identify two recommenders and provide their email addresses.
6. 6Write and submit the required essay of no more than 300 words.
7. 7Submit the complete application by the annual scholarship deadline.
