Finish Line Degree Completion Grant

The Finish Line Degree Completion Grant helps Missouri undergraduate students overcome financial barriers that are preventing them from completing a degree. The program serves students who stopped attending school because of an outstanding balance as well as students in their final semester who have exhausted all available federal financial aid.

Eligibility

  • Be a Missouri resident.
  • Have a current Student Aid Index of 12,000 or less on the FAFSA.
  • Meet satisfactory academic progress standards established by the school.
  • Be an undergraduate student who has not yet completed a degree.
  • Have not previously received the Finish Line Degree Completion Grant.
  • Applicants seeking help with a back balance must have completed at least 75% of the credits or hours required for degree completion.
  • Back-balance applicants must plan to re-enroll at an eligible Missouri school, have stopped out for at least one academic term excluding summer, and owe an outstanding balance at an eligible Missouri school.
  • Applicants who have exhausted federal aid must be enrolled in the final semester of their academic program, have no additional federal funding available, and have a certified need for direct educational costs.

Requirements

  • Complete the Finish Line Degree Completion Grant application through My Scholarship Central.
  • Provide a degree completion plan.
  • Provide a current bill showing an eligible outstanding balance or confirmation from the school that all federal financial aid options have been exhausted.
  • Complete the FAFSA and provide current Student Aid Index information.
