FCS Financial Scholarship

Eligibility

• Be an eligible Missouri high school senior.
• Be the child, grandchild, stepchild, or step-grandchild of an FCS Financial customer or member-owner.
• Not be a relative of an FCS Financial director or employee as defined by the scholarship application.
• Not be receiving a full-ride scholarship.
• Plan to continue education after high school.
• Agricultural majors or fields of study receive preference but are not required.
• Colleges and universities located in Missouri receive preference, but attendance at an out-of-state institution does not automatically disqualify an applicant.

Requirements

• Complete the FCS Financial Scholarship application.
• Provide information about the qualifying FCS Financial customer relationship.
• Provide high school and planned college or university information.
• List income-producing work experience, including employment, SAE projects, entrepreneurial work, or internships.
• List civic and community volunteer activities.
• List agriculture-related activities and accomplishments, including FFA, 4-H, or similar organizations when applicable.
• List school activities, honors, awards, and accomplishments.
• Submit a brief essay describing short-term and long-term goals, with a maximum of 500 words.
• Submit an essay describing the value FCS Financial brings to the applicant's farm or grandparents' farm, with a maximum of 750 words.
• Have the applicant's high school principal or guidance counselor complete the required Academic Achievement Form.

How to Apply

1. 1Confirm that the applicant has a qualifying relationship to an FCS Financial customer or member-owner.
2. 2Complete the online FCS Financial Scholarship application.
3. 3Provide detailed work, volunteer, agricultural, and school activity information.
4. 4Complete both required essay responses.
5. 5Download the Academic Achievement Form and have a high school principal or guidance counselor complete it.
6. 6Ensure all required forms and application materials are submitted by the published deadline.
